Trovare for creators

Publish the walk you’d take a friend on.

Trovare publishes self-guided tours by invitation and application. If you have a route like that, and stories to tell along it, we’d like to read about it.

The people behind the tours

Guides, writers and locals, each with their name on their own routes.

Fewer tours, better ones

Someone opening Trovare in a new city is trusting that the tour in front of them is worth the afternoon. That only holds if every tour is good, so we read and listen to every one before it ships.

It means fewer tours than an open marketplace would have. That’s the point.

Your name on it

Every tour carries your name, and you get a creator page in the app with all your routes on it.

A finished app around your route

Turn-by-turn voice directions, stories that play as people arrive, and offline saving. You bring the route and the stories.

Editors on your side

Trovare’s editors read and listen to every tour before it ships, and tell you what needs work.

A voice if you want one

Record your own stories, or have a stop voiced in Trovare’s house voice.

Trovare Studio

Where the tours get made

The route, the stops, the words, the audio and the photos, in one place. Access comes with an accepted application.

  1. Draw the route, or bring a GPX

Start from a list of stops and let the wizard find them on the map, draw the route yourself, or import a GPX. Studio shows the elevation profile and checks the roads along the way.

  2. Three texts for every stop

A short card people read on the map, a narration they hear as they arrive, and guide notes that Alfred, the app’s guide, uses to answer questions.

  3. Record it, or have it voiced

Upload your own recording as an MP3, or have Studio read your narration aloud with ElevenLabs. Either way, you listen to it before you publish.

  4. A second reader

AI reads each narration against Trovare’s guide and points out where it drifts. It never rewrites your words.

  5. Photos with the licence sorted

Use your own photos, or pick from Wikimedia Commons with its licence rules applied and the credit kept.

  6. Reviewed before it ships

An editor reads every tour end to end and listens to every clip before it goes into the app.

The standard

What a good tour looks like

The short version of the guide every tour is written to.

  • A title that makes a claim. The place, then the point: “Lecce: The city built from one stone.”

Tour title

Lecce: The city built from one stone.

Lecce Walking Tour

Names the place, says nothing about it.

Questions

No. Some creators guide for a living; others just know a place better than anyone. What matters is the route and what you have to say along it.

A route you’d take a friend on, and something worth saying at each stop. Your own photos and recordings help, but Studio can voice a stop and find licensed photos if you don’t have them.

Then Trovare for partners is the better place to start. We build collections of tours for hotels, clubs and destinations, with your name on them.
